Vybz Kartel Writing Songs And Memoir Documenting Life Behind Bars

Vybz Kartel is in for a rough ride in the Jamaican justice system.
The incarcerated deejay is currently writing a memoir documentary his journey behind bars, sources told Urban Islandz.
“He is doing a lot of writing because you know Addi is a smart youth,” the source, who regularly visit Vybz Kartel at the remand center exclusive told Urban Islandz.
“He is writing a lot of songs and a memoir documenting his trials and tribulation from his arrest in 2011,” the source added.
“Addi want the world to know the injustice and corruption he is faced with and I guess his memoir will go in depth and cause a lot of controversy just like his book did,” the source continues.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, was arrested in September of 2011 and slapped with two murder charges in relation to the death of Clive “Lizard” Williams and Barrington “Barrie” Burton.

His trial has seen numerous delays since, prompting an outcry from the former Portmore Empire head and his huge fan base.
Earlier this year Vybz Kartel wrote an open letter from behind bars to his fans where he accused Jamaican law enforcement of conspiring to end his career.
“Everything as it relates to my case is a fabrication, everything is fabricated,” Vybz Kartel wrote. Don’t know whose corn I may have stepped on in the past but it is now coming back to haunt me.”
Vybz Kartel new trial date is set for November 18 where he is expecting to begin trial.

Chronixx – Champion Lyrics

(Verse 1)
Life has it’s way
Of turning the grey sky’s blue
But sometimes the sky
Come tumbling down on you
But of this one thing am sure
(Chorus)
Jah, Jah, never give I more than what I can bear
Sometimes the road get dark and it feels like no one cares
Friends and family they are gone
But oily love a come
Cause I am a champion mi brother
Am a champion mi friend
(Verse 2)
Mama dry yo tears and move yo hand from yo head
Never wear a frown because Jah, Jah, no dead
Thrust in every word weh Selassie said
Leaning in Marcus wi lost yo faith
Cause sometimes the sky
Comes tumbling down on you
(Repeat Chorus)
(Verse 3)
So all when yo hungry and edge eye teeth
I and I a stand up paw mi own 2 feat
Mi naw meck no trouble come get rid a me
Mi a fight it like a Champion Mohamed Alley
But that no mean I man a go do no folly
Rasta man a no satan likkle puppet dolly
Push on pon the straight weh norrow like a chally
A goodness and mercy a follow back a me
(Repeat Chorus 2X)
